Estée Lauder Small But Mighty

While Smalls is yet to become a household name, the Caribbean beauty is certainly a rising star among those that count in the fashion industry. She made her high-fashion debut walking in Givenchy's autumn/winter 2010-11 couture show in Paris (see the show here) and has also appeared on the catwalk for Marc Jacobs, Prada, Louis Vuitton and Gucci.

Besides her high-fashion credentials, it was Joan's warmth and energy that really won the brand over. "[Her] smile, warmth and positive energy are perfect for the Estée Lauder brand," explains Aerin Lauder, Estée Lauder's senior vice president and creative director. "She is a great addition to our global faces."

As one of the world's leading make-up and skincare manufacturers, selling products in over 150 countries across the world, Estée Lauder has been keen to represent global diversity with its signings, and over the years has had beauty ambassadors from America, Europe, Ethiopia and China.
